My Work

Bank of America Chicago Marathon

In September of 2023, I created all NBC Chicago-branded Chicago Marathon spots. Working within the guidelines laid out by the bank, I wrote, edited, and created graphics for countless Chicago Marathon spots. :04, :05, :10, :15, English, and Spanish versions were necessary as these spots were airing across NBC Chicago, Telemundo Chicago, and NBC Sports Chicago.

Shown here is the English 15 Tune-In spot. I love this spot because it allowed me to combine my After Effects work with my editing. I didn’t want to just make a regular spot, I wanted to make something that could be rewatched with new details revealing themselves every time.

The Daydream Arcade

February of 2024 marked the start of my relationship with The Daydream Arcade. From day 1, I made an impact. Brianna and Darryl (shown here) film their amazing content, and I handle the delivery to the audience. Over the last 11 months and counting, I have implemented my own editing, sound mixing, graphics, stingers, targeting techniques, and personal advice to the channel. In that time, both subscribers and watch time have increased 6-fold.

There is a niche that we are continuing to carve out, and I couldn’t be happier with how this project is unfolding.

Shown here is one of our 30+ minute episodes.

NBC Chicago Holiday Promotions

This project allowed my After Effects Automation to shine. Every person who was working for NBC’s Triopoly in Chicago had the opportunity to have a seat on our set downstairs. I created 117 different versions of people having a seat and wishing their friends and family Happy Holidays.

To go along with the massive internal project, I was assigned with making a few talent-spotlight spots to air across the networks. Since it was the holidays, I aimed to make the spots feel cheery and personal.

Design Toolkits

Here is an explainer video about my design toolkits in After Effects. On top of motion graphic artistry, I have been particularly interested in motion graphics’ workflows. During my time at NBC, I independently developed similar workflows to handle the sheer volume of graphics I was expected to produce. The results allowed me to stay ahead of the curve on incoming work, and certainly played a role in earning a freelance position following my internship.

This particular toolkit is an example of a stinger that was developed for The Daydream Arcade.
